Robin Kaye, an American Idol boss, and her husband were fatally shot in their Encino, Los Angeles, home. Alleged murder suspect Raymond Boodarian reportedly lived just minutes away from them in a neighbourhood packed with celebrities.

Police found the victims while responding to the home in Encino on Monday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to the LAPD, officers discovered the couple in their Encino, California, home while performing a welfare check.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the double murder of American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca.
