CINCINNATI — The Bengals are signing former Saints defensive lineman Isaiah Foskey to their practice squad according to multiple reports. Foskey, 24, was picked in the second round (40th overall) by the New Orleans Saints in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has 25 tackles in 27 career games and appeared in all 17 games for the Saints last season.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that the Bengals added a former second-round defensive lineman to their practice squad on Tuesday.
The team named former team captain, Sam Hubbard, as the Ruler of the Jungle for Sunday’s home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. “You asked. The Jungle answered. Sam Hubbard is your Ruler,” the team wrote on social media.
Sam Hubbard is this weekend's Ruler of the Jungle for the home opener against Jacksonville. The former Bengals defensive end just retired from the team in March after spending his entire career with Cincinnati,
Opposite of Garrett, the Browns heavily rotated their defensive ends. Isaiah McGuire got over half of the snaps on defense at 56%, while Alex Wright played 40%. Cam Thomas and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka each saw limited action, playing 13% and 4% of the snaps, respectively.
The Bengals announced Tuesday Sam Hubbard will be Ruler of the Jungle for the team's home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, Sept. 14 at Paycor Stadium.
The Bengals defense had a performance on Sunday vs. the Browns that was better than anything they did in all of 2024.
