The Florida Lottery experienced a record-breaking sales week following the $1.787 billion Powerball jackpot, the second largest in Powerball and U.S. lottery history.

The ticket was sold at the Publix Super Market at Atlantic Plaza in Satellite Beach, and the buyer opted to choose their own set of five numbers ranging from one to 36, records show. The player beat the 1-in-376,992 odds to match all five numbers to win the jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery.
