Officials in Tunisia said there was no evidence of an attack on the ship, which the Global Sumud Flotilla hoped to use to bring humanitarian goods to Gaza.
A group sending aid boats to Gaza in defiance of Israel's blockade says a drone "dropped a bomb" on one of its vessels in Tunisia.
"Our peaceful mission to break the siege on Gaza and stand in solidarity with its people continues with determination and resolve," said members of the flotilla's steering committee.
The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) confirmed that one of its main vessels, the Family Boat, carrying members of the GSF steering committee, was attacked by an Israeli drone in Tunisian waters, Sinar Harian reports.
