A Michigan Powerball player won $1 million, while the $1.787 billion jackpot was split between Missouri and Texas winners.

As of Friday, the lump sum payout for the $1.8 billion Powerball was $770.3 million, according to Michigan Lottery spokesman Jake Harris.

State law requires winners to be named publicly, but there is a way to hide your identity and still claim the prize.
