Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on the city's northwest side in the afternoon hours of July 20. A 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining fatal gunshot injuries,

Tremaine Jones pleaded not guilty to charges related to the fatal shooting of Milwaukee Officer Kendall Corder; a trial is likely following a preliminary hearing.

Tremaine Jones, the Milwaukee man accused in the shooting that killed Officer Kendall Corder and wounded Officer Christopher McCray, pleaded not guilty to criminal charges on Friday, July 18.

The double shooting took place near 300 E. Juneau Ave. at about 2:10 a.m. on July 19, according to Milwaukee police. The investigation is ongoing.

Milwaukee police say the teen was transported to a local hospital for treatment. They're still searching for suspects.
