The Atlanta Hawks have arguably one of, if not the best, point guards in the NBA with Trae Young at the helm. Young is consistently at the top of the league's assist lists as he can play make at an elite level, thanks to his ability to draw defenses out of place and create mismatches on pick-and-roll, as well as his shooting abilities.

Several NBA players have received contract extensions from their respective teams. However, All-Star guard Trae Young is yet to receive a contract extension from the Atlanta Hawks. Young is eligible to sign a four-year, $229 million extension from the Hawks. However, the organization is yet to make an offer.

Restricted free agent center N’Faly Dante is now officially a member of the Hawks, as Houston declined to match Atlanta’s offer sheet.

N'Faly Dante barely had a cup of coffee in the NBA last season, just getting in four games for the Rockets and playing a total of 51 minutes. However, the undrafted center out of Oregon showed promise in the G-League, averaging 15.1 points and 9.8 rebounds for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
