The New York City half marathon returns for 2025 today, featuring a new route from Brooklyn to Manhattan. An estimated 28,000+ runners are participating in the United Airlines NYC Half, as the course travels across the Brooklyn Bridge for the very first time.
27,000+ runners take part in United Airlines NYC Half Marathon
The event, spanning 13.1 miles, saw runners starting near the Brooklyn Museum in Prospect Heights, crossing up through Eastern Parkway and Downtown Brooklyn and over the Brooklyn Bridge and into Times Square before ending in Central Park.
