The fire on Greta Thunberg’s Gaza-bound flotilla was likely started by one of the activists onboard, according to authorities in Tunisia — who said there was “no basis in truth” that it was struck by a drone.

TUNIS, Tunisia — An international activist group seeking to deliver aid to Gaza on a flotilla says one of its boats was hit by what it believes was a drone while docked in Tunisia. Tunisian authorities denied a drone was involved and said they are investigating a fire in a life jacket aboard the boat.

Tunisian authorities claim they found no evidence of a hostile act and say the fire originated inside the Family Boat.
