DETROIT -- Dillon Dingler’s triple in a six-run first inning helped the Detroit Tigers finish off a sweep of the Houston Astros with a 7-2 win on Wednesday afternoon at Comerica Park. The Tigers (76-53) took three from the Astros (69-58) by a combined score of 18-2 and have won seven of their last eight.
Trammell required assistance off the field with a cart in the bottom of the first inning of Wednesday's game against the Tigers after colliding with the outfield wall, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
