Post-tropical cyclone Lorena could bring heavy rainfall across parts of the Southwestern United States, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported Friday morning. Lorena could bring 1 to 2 inches of rain across the Southwest, with isolated areas in Arizona and New Mexico seeing up to 4 inches, which could cause scattered flash flooding.
A tropical wave has been designated as Invest 91L. It's likely to become a tropical depression by the weekend.
