Honda and Amalgam are collaborating to make a limited run of 1:8-scale RA272 F1 cars priced at $28,995 a piece. There's a smaller, cheaper option too.

Each 1:8 scale model is built from 1,600 parts including castings, photo-etchings and CNC machined metal components. Genuine car paints and archive color references were used to spray the bodywork.

To mark the 60th anniversary of its first-ever Formula 1 win, Honda and the Amalgam Collection created two scale replicas of the RA272 racer.

Authentic car paints and historical color references were applied to the bodywork. Development of the 1:8 scale model took roughly 4,500 hours, with each unit requiring around 450 hours to complete.
