Finally, The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25th as the final MCU theatrical release of the year. It’s also one of the most anticipated, giving Marvel fans the MCU’s own Fantastic Four family. While we saw some short clips here and there, we didn’t have a full trailer until Tuesday morning.

It has been nearly 10 years since the Fantastic Four’s last (and infamous) big-screen appearance. Since then, they’ve only shown up via cameos, like John Krasinski being turned to spaghetti in Doctor Strange 2 and Chris Evans’ short-lived return as Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Set to a vibrant 1960s backdrop, it's a time period full of chunky televisions and knitted costumes, a far cry from Captain America: Brave New World and Sam Wilson's technologically advanced kit (that launches 14 February 2025).
