The National Weather Service is letting us know we’re in for a storm this weekend and we should get ready for up to 6 inches of snow.

As the storm sneaks closer to Massachusetts, residents are advised to prepare for anywhere from 5 to 12 inches of snow over the weekend. Snowfall could start anywhere between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday for residents who live west of Springfield and Greenfield. The start time for the rest of the state could vary from 7 pm. to 10 p.m.

Get ready for more snow! This will be a busy week of weather in Boston and Massachusetts. There are more storms coming in the next seven days. What is going on? Essentially, we have a very active jet stream coming off the Pacific Ocean with storm after storm slamming into California.
