CINCINNATI — Former Bengals wide receiver Laveranues Coles graduated from the police academy and was sworn in as a Jacksonville police officer on Friday. It's great to see the 11-year NFL veteran take such a big and rewarding step.

NFL fans witnessed a rare primetime doubleheader to close Week 4, with Jets-Dolphins and Bengals-Broncos taking center stage on Monday Night Football.

CINCINNATI — Joe Flacco got plenty of worthy praise from his head coach and teammates following another strong outing in a Bengals uniform. Cincinnati needed competent, level quarterback play, with Jake Browning floundering, and they've gotten much more than that out of Flacco.

Wilson went down with the hyperextension on the penultimate play of the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London. He landed awkwardly after an incomplete pass and sat for the Jets' final play.

Joe Flacco has clearly given his new teammates hope that the Bengals could remain in the playoff hunt until Joe Burrow is cleared to return.
