Microsoft is testing out new icons for its most popular apps. A recent survey inspired an artist to make a modernized Outlook logo in the app's clasic yellow.

How to pin other Outlook windows The calendar isn’t the only Outlook window you can pin to the Desktop. In the bottom-left corner, you’ll see the Outlook icons: Mail, Calendar, People and To Do.

When mail arrives, make Outlook Play a sound, Change mouse pointer, Show an envelope icon in the taskbar or Display a Desktop Alert.
