Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas took aim at Sesame Street's "Elmo" after the popular children's show puppet promoted COVID-19 vaccines for children on Twitter.

The one and only Elmo of "Sesame Street" asked people how they were doing earlier this week on "X." Elmo got a flood of responses, many of them from people who are struggling.
