Former Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio is one of five new College Football Playoff selection committee members.

Mark Dantonio became a legend in the state of Michigan because of what he was able to do in his 13 seasons coaching the Michigan State Spartans.

Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades will lead the College Football Playoff selection committee next season, while former MSU coach Mark Dantonio will also join the 13-person committee.

The committee is in charge of ranking the teams to set them into the 12-team postseason bracket that debuted last season.
