The Winn-Dixie on Carter Hill Road, a store that has been a neighborhood staple since the 1970s, is now covered in banners and posters with the words “Store closing” plastered across them.

Aldi may have sold off most of the Winn-Dixie and Harvey's locations it bought last year, but it's still working on the ones it kept.

The Winn-Dixie store located in Fernandina Beach will close in late July to convert into an Aldi store, according to Southeastern Grocers.
