Stephen Colbert drew attention to CBS’ controversial decision to end his long-running “Late Show” during an appearance at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards. While presenting during the ceremony Sunday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Colbert teasingly whipped out a vintage headshot while quipping about looking for a new job.
Colbert, 61, will make his exit as host in May after leading the show since September 2015. So at the Emmys, he took out his resume, printed with an old headshot of himself — one taken at a much younger age — to present to the audience. And he had a particular recipient in mind.
