Jack LaSota, who is facing state and federal weapons charges, was taken into custody in February in rural western Maryland with two other followers.

In January 2023, Zajko was questioned by Pennsylvania State Police about the deaths of her parents, but disappeared with LaSota, leaving behind her car and $40,000 in cash, according to court records.
