In a statement shared with PEOPLE, a rep for Hailey Bieber says her $1 billion Rhode acquisition has nothing to do with her husband Justin Bieber's "business affairs" following his financial settlement with Scooter Braun.

Hailey Bieber 's business is standing on its own regardless of speculation on the future of her $1 billion Rhode deal. T he "Peaches" singer reportedly agreed to pay $26 million to Scooter's company, HYBE, to reconcile money they paid to AEG for his canceled 2022 Justice tour, according to insider sources to People and TMZ.

An independent audit showed that Bieber still owed Hybe $26 million for the cancellation and an additional $11 million in back commissions, of which the artist agreed to pay half — bringing the total to $31.5 million. It’s also reported that Scooter Braun will not receive any of this money personally, as he is no longer the CEO at Hybe.
