In a ruling filed by district judge Kenneth Bell, the court has denied the preliminary injunction request made by 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports - a request for maintaining the teams' respective charter statuses through the end of the 2025 season, until the antitrust lawsuit is ruled upon in December.

Judge cites recent NASCAR actions as key reasons for not grating injunction that would have given the two teams charter status the rest of the season.

In a letter issued to the teams that signed the agreement last year, NASCAR commissioner Steve Phelps says the outcome could decide up to an additional $1.5 million per charter should 23XI and Front Row have their injunction motion denied.
