Fixes have been discovered for the "GTA 5" Xbox 360 play disc issue and the PSN download problem.

But don't install the other disc - labelled "Play" - because that might just screw up your game. Users have reported dropped frames, bad textures and other graphical errors if you do.

Sorry I missed the discussion in the GTA V thread, I was looking to see if anyone had already discussed this. I did originally have Disc 1 on my USB, but did not try installing the Play Disc to HDD.

Rockstar Games is advising Xbox 360 players to avoid installing the 'Grand Theft Auto 5' play disc. Meanwhile, online retailer Amazon has broken the 'GTA 5' street date.

UPDATE 1: Digital Foundry, which has access to the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 5, has offered an explanation for Rockstar's recommendation against installing the "play" disc.
