Star who spent the majority of his career with the Washington Wizards, announced his retirement from professional basketball on Tuesday, Aug. 19. In a post on social media, Wall thanked family and fans and said he wants to remain involved in the game.

John Wall is retiring after 11 NBA seasons. The 34-year-old Wall spent most of his career with the Washington Wizards, who picked him first overall in the 2010 draft.
