Here is a look at the forecast for all the events leading up to the Daytona 500 and the season-opening NASCAR race.

The president of Daytona International Speedway, Frank Kelleher, visited East Carolina University Tuesday to talk with students about what goes into putting events like this together and to learn more about what they are interested in when it comes to the world of racing.

The Daytona 500 driver lineup isn't set in stone yet. The entry list includes 45 drivers fighting for 40 spots — or maybe 41 spots.

Daytona Grande Oceanfront Resort is only 5.7 miles from Daytona International Speedway. At 27 stories, the resort has a variety of dining options including a pool bar, a fitness center with views of the beach and a 105-foot infinity pool.
