It was kind of a ho-hum effort for Saquon Barkley on Thursday night. After an absolutely dominating season in 2024, Barkley settled for just 60 yards on the ground in the Philadelphia Eagles' 24-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He also added 24 yards on four receptions via the pass game.

But if anyone could justify the investment, it was Barkley, whose eruptive burst was even more remarkable considering the 230-pound frame and tree-trunk legs he carried. In the end, the Giants' problem wasn't so much putting high value on Barkley's otherworldly power;
