To celebrate, Sheetz will be giving away not one, but two free hot dogs to customers. The deal runs from National Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 16, through Tuesday, July 22. To redeem, customers must purchase at least 10 gallons of fuel in a single transaction and activate the deal under the OFFERZ tab in the Sheetz app.

The time between Memorial Day and Labor Day is considered “hot dog season," according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council. Consumers buy about 38% of the year's hot dogs during that time, amassing sales of $1.16 billion, estimates the group.

Sheetz is offering a special deal for National Hot Dog Day. Customers can receive two free hot dogs with a fuel purchase.
