CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns suffered a tight 17-16 loss to the Bengals, but their defense was not to blame. Especially in the second half. Cleveland’s defense kept Cincinnati’s offense to 7 second-half net yards.
The Bengals took the first possession in for a touchdown on a 5-yard run by Chase Brown. Kicker Evan McPherson converted the point-after-touchdown attempt to cap the 12-play, 68-yard scoring drive that ate up 7:28 of clock.
