The man who alleges A$AP Rocky shot at him years earlier on a Hollywood sidewalk continued his testimony Wednesday, telling a downtown Los Angeles courtroom about the night he says the Grammy-nominated rapper opened fire.

The alleged victim in the assault trial of A$AP Rocky is expected to return to the witness stand as attorneys question him about the night he says he was shot and injured by the rapper-turned-fashion designer.

A$AP Relli claims that A$AP Rocky threatened his life with a gun, and he was willing to die for his “respect.” With the trial underway, Relli, né Terell Ephron, took the stand on Tuesday (Jan. 28) to recount how the 2021 incident transpired.

If convicted at trial of both counts as charged, Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — faces up to 24 years in prison.

The defense continued challenging the man, known as A$AP Relli, on the alleged shooting on a Hollywood street in 2021.

The “Umbrella” singer, 36, dressed in all black and sat in the gallery at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles between Rocky’s mother, Renee Black, and his sister, Erika B. Mayers.
