President Donald Trump lashed out at the criticism he’s faced for his Alaska summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, which failed to result in a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine.

President Donald Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House for a high-stakes meeting as the U.S. president pushed for a deal to end Moscow's war on its neighbor. A host of European leaders joined the pair.

Trump's action comes after his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, where the Russian leader told him that mail-in ballots led to his electoral defeat in 2020, Trump said.
