To display line numbers in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), follow these steps:
Open SSMS.
Click on Tools > Options.
In the Options dialog box, expand the Text Editor node.
Expand the Transact-SQL node and select General.
Check the box labeled Line numbers.
Click OK.
