I use Microsoft Edge browser in 'S' mode on my Windows 10 Home Edition laptop, and cannot access a website because "JavaScript needs to enabled". I'm confused by online comments, one of which seems to indicate JavaScript should already be enabled on my laptop. How do I check this, and if necessary enable JavaScript as easily as possible?

Aug 10, 2022 · When using www.whatismybrowser.com directly in the Edge browser outside of MS Access, it recognizes the Edge browser and says JavaScript is enabled (which it is). (When I tried it on an older version of MS Access on another PC, it recognized the web browser control as Internet Explorer 11 and JavaScript enabled.)
