Dec 8, 2021 · So I read that Hades actually uses a 3D modeling workflow for create the assets for the game which is completely 2D and that got me to thinking what are the pros and cons of this approach. If I am not looking for a pixel art style, it seems like this approach has a lot of benefits with minimal downsides (especially related to animation).
