Aug 3, 2014 · Ok changed some things, I now got a Scoreboard called fire, that I created with /scoreboard objective add fire stat.useItem.minecraft.experience_bottle, then I created some command blocks 1 testfor @a[score_fire_min=1] 2 execute @a[score_fire_min=1] ~ ~ ~ setblock ~ ~ ~-2 minecraft:fire 3 scoreboard players set @a fire 0 WOOOOOOORKS !!!!

So run the server, close it, replace the world folder with your world, run the server, go in the server, break the minecart, shut down the server with /stop, and copy the world back to your saves folder.

Mar 22, 2022 · Many years later... version 1.18.1 and the limitation is still around so I doubt it will ever get fixed. The main problem seems to be that while command blocks are allowed in servers and in single player creative, they cannot be placed in single player survival (Java Edition).
