Oct 13, 2014 · Simply go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\MartinPikryl.WinSCP_tvv458r3h9r5m\LocalCache\Local and delete the Programs folder or the Microsoft VS Code folder which is under it. Then everything should be working fine again. I have no idea how this happened, but I am finally happy I got it resolved. Thanks for sharing your findings!

Sep 27, 2022 · My current process is to fire up WinSCP and login and then access the files that way, but that seems very 2000's , is there anything better like a VScode extension ? Grab "Remote Development" extension for VSC by Microsoft. Then as long as you can SSH into a server, you can edit the files.
