Sep 24, 2019 · I haven't seen anyone with the same issue as me from searching online and wondered if anyone has run into this or knows a fix. EDIT: Seems like Rockstar have fixed the bug I was encountering as I was just able to install the launcher without doing anymore troubleshooting. Just redownloaded the installer and it worked.

Nov 6, 2019 · Then copied the files to C: and tried to change locations in the Rockstar app without any luck. Ended up deleting it all, INCLUDING another game to free up even more space for my next attempt on installing it on the C: drive. With 175GB of free space, It still tells me I have not enough space to install Red Dead Redemption 2.

So installing the rockstar app is considered a compatibility layer so it's installed on a per game basis. If you go into desktop mode and follow one of the convoluted tutorials on installing the app on its own, then any new games should default to that.

May 18, 2020 · After you've installed it on CPU2, go to all the directories with the files: Documents/Rockstar Games, Programs/Rockstar Games and finally Programs (x86)/Rockstar Games. Copy and paste these folders onto the USB drive. Next, install the social club on CPU1 if you uninstalled it.
