There is a skit with "yeet" in it being used in it on Musical.ly now. There are actually 96,000 videos being tagged as #yeet with almost all of them using yeet in one particular way. The word Yeet is in the soundtrack of these videos. So there is a new meaning for Yeet that is very popular right now.

Throwing something doesn't make the sound 'yeet', but the concept of throwing something is evoked by the sound, represented as the word yeet.
